We have a thing here at Capra Designs with colours.

From our humble beginnings we've loved experimenting with pigments and pouring different colourful resins together to create organic patterns.  We are always looking to create a colour palette that will transcend trends and inspire even a non-colour enthusiast.

We find inspiration in our day to day life, travels or even in our own backyard! Infact, Australia is a multicoloured land: earthy desert tones, vivid green rainforests and an inifinity of shades of blue. Nature is an inexhaustible inspiration source, that is why we are thrilled to have some of our products showcased in the 2020 Dulux Colour Forecast, "Cultivate". This year, the collection underlines our deep need to feel grounded at home or at work, to feel aligned and centered in this more than ever moving world and constantly evolving society.

The four colour palettes names are indeed self-explanatory: "Grounded", "Comeback", "Cultivate" & "Indulge". Capra Designs products were chosen by the very best Bree Leech styling Studio to highlight and to complement the "Cultivate" colour palette: think tonal greens with coloured notes of chalky blue, deep plum & yellow curd.

"The time has come for us to nurture and regenerate. To surrender to that urge for escape and to find refuge in the beautiful simplicity of nature. As we disconnect from the harsh white filters of the digital sphere, we find ourselves reconnecting with the very elements of nature: verdant earth, clean air, natural light.

In Cultivate we embrace the romance of slow living, taking pleasure in nature and our ability to nurture, grow and sustain ourselves in simple and small ways.

Personal wellbeing comes to the fore and we seek out the soothing, calm refuge of home where we can rest, re-focus and regenerate. [...]"

We cherish those mindful moments when we take time to take care of our plants, our interior and ourselves. We believe in the power and influence of colours and plants in our daily life. We hope that our carefully designed pots and items help you finding a certain harmony in yours.
